The discussion questions of the terminological definition of the stage direction

Abstract
The article deals with the problems of the terminological definitions of the dramatic stage direction and its functions. Different interpretation of the term of literary traditions in Western European countries is studied. The questions of the most debatable theoretical limits which can be distinguished by the conceptual corpus of the stage direction, peculiarities of its poetics are analyzed.
