Modernization of urban electric transport in the way of sustainable development of the city

Abstract
The structure of passenger transportation and passenger turnover by type of transport in Ukraine are analyzed in the article. Author examined the economic activity results of urban electric transport enterprises of Ukraine. The factors that led to a decrease urban electric passenger flow are determined. The basic vectors improving the efficiency of economic activities of urban electric transport enterprises in the context of sustainable urban development are presented. The benefits from implementing basic measures of modernization of urban electric transport are generalized.
