MONITORING OF PRODUCTIVE FORCES’ MODERNIZATION LEVEL AND REGIONAL RATING IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The question of modernizing the productive forces becomes important in the conditions of modern globalization processes, profound political, economic and social transformations. The effective use of intellectual potential, widespread involvement and development of new technologies, the development of high-tech industries, enhancing innovation, the optimal use of the natural resource potential, and environmentalizing all spheres of public life are the dominant modernization priorities. The aim of the article is to monitor the level of modernization of productive forces and implementation of rating of Ukrainian regions on the basis of the developed methodological guidelines, which will contribute to the creation of scientific support for management decision-making, aimed at increasing the level of modernization of productive forces. Monitoring of the level of modernization of productive forces was carried out on the basis of an analysis of its components: the level of modernization of the economic sphere (LES), the level of modernization of human development (HRD), and the level of modernization of the ecological sphere (LECS). The monitoring contributes to the creation of scientific support for management decision-making, aimed at increasing the level of modernization of the productive forces in the conditions of reformatting power.
