It was investigated that irredentism policy complies with such regulations of international law as the right of peoples to self-determination, principle of territorial integrity and principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of an independent state. Moral and legal aspects are considered together because international relations are governed by international law, the majority of which is based on moral attitudes. Analysis of the problem of morality of irredentist practices is made through regulatory and value approach. It was proved the inconsistency of international law regulations causing a paradox when members of conflict interaction justify their position by appealing to the same documents. This indicates the incompleteness of process of moral and legal regulation of international relations.
