MOTIVEME “BETRAYAL” IN THE LYRICS OF THE NATIONAL LIBERATION MOVEMENT OF THE FIRST HALF OF THE XX-TH CENTURY

Abstract
Investigated here is the phenomenon of betrayal in the lyrics of the national liberation movement of the first half of the twentieth century. The author considers the motiveme “betrayal” through the prism of the oppositions “betrayal / allegiancy” and “betrayal / faithfulness”. It is shown that this motiveme is realized through the motives: “to betray an idea”, “to betray a man”. On the examples of the rifle and rebel songs it is illustrated that the motive “to betray a man” prevails in the lyrical texts.
