Abstract
(Transmedia Storytelling: the Secret Behind the Immortality of Harry Potter’s Universe) The world of Harry Potter is very well known in almost every segment of the whole world: this study tries to explain how Joanne Kathleen Rowling’s story became so popular and timeless owing to diff erent media- and marketing methods. Transmedia storytelling is a popular and reserched subject in the West-European and American media and communication studies, but the topic is addressed only in a handful of Hungarian essays, therefore the author tries toreinforce its use with her work.
