Mythology of the Carpathians as a factor of spiritual development of personality

Abstract
The article analyzes the factors affecting spiritual development of the person. Discusses the mythological concept, which realizes a direct impact on the existence and validity of the highlanders. Mythology of the Carpathians is the rich heritage of the Ukrainian people, which today has not been fully appreciated in the context of spiritual formation of Ukrainian consciousness. Mythology, as the root cause, which helps to understand and comprehend the ideological space of the Ukrainians.
