НАПРАВЛЕНИЯ УЛУЧШЕНИЯ ВНЕШНЕТОРГОВЫХ СВЯЗЕЙ МЕЖДУ АЗЕРБАЙДЖАНОМ И РОССИЕЙ

Abstract
The article notes that the development of interrelations between the two countries covers a long historical period and in many respects plays a significant role in the Azerbaijani economy. Among the market partners of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation occupies a special place. Trade relations with Russia are of special importance for Azerbaijan and from the point of view of geopolitical, social and economic interests of Azerbaijan and Russia are paramount. The article analyzes the current state of Azerbaijan's foreign trade relations with Russia on the basis of actual data, and the trends of their change. The analysis showed that the current state of foreign trade relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in comparison with the available potential in both countries can not be considered satisfactory. Therefore, it is advisable to take measures that promote the use of the available potential for the development of these ties. Taking this into account, the article offers concrete proposals and recommendations that help improve foreign trade relations between the two countries
