Nation-building dimension of Revolution of Dignity

Abstract
The author has used the modernist concept of nation to analyze the Revolution of Dignity and its influence on forming Ukrainian civic nation. It was established that the events of 2013–2014 have showed changes in the collective political consciousness of Ukrainians, existence of developed civil society in Ukraine, and the ability of Ukrainians, regardless of their ethnic origin, language or religion, to create their own state for themselves, defend their rights and freedoms, defend the national interests of the whole country.
