NATION-BUILDING PROCESS IN SERBIA IN THE SECOND HA LF OF THE 19TH CENTURY

Abstract
The article provides analysis of the domestic and international position of the Principality of Serbia of the second half of 19th century. The author has well researched some nation-building projects suggested by the political élite of the Serbian society which contributed to finding a way for its further development. Particularly attention has been paid to the influence of great powers on the nation-building processes in Serbia.
