NATIONAL EDUCATION OF PRESCHOOLERS BY MEANS OF UKRAINE’S FOLK ART

Abstract
Forming the effective and integrated system of national education at all age stages of the development of an individual and a citizen is the main priority of the pedagogical science in Ukraine. The national culture and its important component – the folk art crafts – are effective teaching means during the period of preschool years. The article deals with the pedagogical conditions for the effective integration of this form of folk art into the pedagogical process for the solution of the problems of the national education of the 5-6-year-old children in preschool educational institutions. A draft concept, the contents of the curriculum as well as the elements of educational technologies are presented in the article. These elements are as follows: attitude of an educator, parents and people close to the child, forms and methods of work, organization of the developing environment, selection of content, strategy, etc. The authors define such components of the national education as artistic-perceptive, emotional, spiritually philosophical, cognitive-active, socially creative and other ones. Pedagogical technology of the step-by-step forming consists of the stages each of which contains methods the use of which allows reaching the aim while solving the set tasks. These methods are: «travelling around» places of folk art crafts, viewing objects, an educator’s story, solution of creative issues in the mode of real time (children’s participation in folk festivals), creation of social situations aimed at gaining national art experience of self-presentation, different exercises, learning personalities, master-classes and other ones. The result of the elaborated pedagogical technology of referring to the annals of the folk art (ritual, celebration, folklore, artistic creativity in everyday life, folk art crafts) is the creation of the specific emotionally positive conditions for educating children and adults in accordance with the national type.
