A Study on the Effect of Cooperative LearningMethod on Students’ Attitude in TeachingScience and Technology

Abstract

 science and technology courses to the 7th graders. 101 students (46 female,55 male) from four different schools of Bursa’s Nilufer, Kestel and Yildrim districtswere taught the “Human and environment” unit via Cooperative Learning Method.Our data was collected from these students by using Student Perspectives onCooperative Learning Approach Survey which is total of 20 questions and wasevaluated by using SPSS 13.00.The results indicate that Cooperative Learning Approach had a positiveeffect on 85% of the students who took the course. The results also show that genderof a student made no difference on the outcome.
