Financial Market and Economic Growth in the Selected New Member Countries of the European Union

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to find that exist statistically significant impact of financial market development on the economic growth in the selected new member countries of European Union (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary). The paper consists of part concern theoretical aspects of connection between financial market development and economic growth, presentation of statistical data used in research, presentation of panel models estimated with used of GLS method with random effects, results of models’ estimation, main findings.
