Foreign capital expansion of Polish companies

Abstract
Foreign capital expansion of Polish companies is a relatively new phenomenon. Polish economy, so far seen mainly as an attractive location for FDI inflows in recent years has also become a capital exporter. The main aim of the article is to present the issues related to the foreign di-rect investment undertaken by Polish companies. Article is divided into three parts. The following issues has been discussed in turn: the main determinants of the internationalization process in the light of theoretical concepts, trends trig-gering capital expansion of Polish enterprises and the value, dynamics and structure of the Polish outward investments. The analysis are based on statistical data derived from the NBP. The main findings of the paper are included in conclusions.
