IT Tools Supporting Knowledge Management in The Engineering Industry Companies

Abstract
The integrated process of order in the machine-building enterprises reflects the comprehensive network in the form of stages, tasks, activities and present the dependencies between them. This interdependence between the various stages of the result of task dependencies and the required knowledge of each of these stages. At every stage of the project team members are actively involved in solving problems and making decisions. Individual team members are assigned to the project because of their formal knowledge, skills and experience that are relevant to the tasks in a project. Integrated process must be built and implemented so that the use of personal knowledge by transforming it into the collective knowledge of the entire team. Hence the system of knowledge sharing is an important aspect in the design of integrated environment. This paper presents the concepts of the two systems supporting knowledge management: the network management system knowledge and expert system. Rule-based expert system uses original, proprietary solutions: self-organizing Horn board rules — simplifies editing and recording knowledge bases. Both types of systems can be used in early warning systems, risk management.
