Legal – economic dilemmas of protection against the effects of the introduction of flood insurance for catastrophic example

Abstract
The system of flood insurance in Poland is faulty and the regulations on which it is based are ineffective. The reason for taking actions in this direction was the experience with appearance and loss adjustment of flood and landslide claims in Poland over the last years. In this article there were presented two proposals of the future system prepared by Polish Insurance Association and Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
