MODELS AND METHODS FOR ESTIMATING THE SUSTAINABILITY OF PRODUCTION AND ECONOMIC SYSTEMS

Abstract
It is denoted that in modern dynamically changing environmental conditions for the operation of industrial and economic systems become more and more important aspects of modelling and control of economic sustainability. The analysis of publications showed that the development and implementation of models and methods for estimating sustainability of industrial and economic systems at different levels, are not well developed, and that led to the purpose of research which are the overview and analysis of models and methods for estimating the sustainability of industrial and economic systems. Subject of research is the economic and mathematical models and methods for estimating the sustainability of industrial and economic systems. It is denoted that the process of sustainable operation of industrial and economic systems contains decision a large number of complex problems, among which a considerable amount occupy process modelling their economic sustainability. In this paper improved the concept of economic sustainability, as the system's ability to resist a destabilizing effect and changes in the external and internal environment through the effective use of resources, as well as its ability to adapt to these changes while keeping a sustainable capacity, structural integrity in the long run. The overview of models and methods for estimating sustainability production and economic systems has shown that today there are three main groups: models and methods, which are based on integrated model; sets of indicators and limits and that characterize the economic sustainability of the system; criteria conditions of economic sustainability. The review would provide conclusions that at present there is an objective need to improve and further develop models and methods for estimating the level of economic sustainability industrial and economic systems. It is denoted that the developed models and methods should be based on a more formalized modelling unit, reflecting the functional components of internal and external environments of systems and the balance between positive and negative factors.
