Motivating talented employees as a success factor in crisis time

Journal Title: Zarządzanie i Finanse - Year 2013, Vol 11, Issue 4

Abstract

In an age in which organization’s success is largely a product of knowledge, companies that want to be competitive must be able to attract and retain talented employees. This issue is especially significant in crisis time, when companies reduce their costs – they are finding it increasingly difficult to motivate and retain talent. Existing motivating systems are not effective. Organizations must create culture in which talented employees thrive and are committed to help the organizations succeed. The aim of this paper is to present the character of motivating talented people in crisis time.
