QUALITY IMPROVEMENT OF GRASSLANDS IN THE UPPER SEMENIC MOUNTAINS

Abstract

The comparative analysis of the territorial complex of Semenic Mountains in relation with the neighboring relief units is based on the observations and recordings undertaken at the Semenic meteorological station, as well as at other stations in the surrounding areas, such as: Oraviţa (for the hills), Bozovici (for the Bozovici depression), Caransebeş (for the Timiş-Cerna channel-type depression) and Ţarcu (for the high mountain area lying at the western limit of the Southern Carpathians).
