RESEARCH CATEGORY “ECONOMIC SECURITY” IN LIGHT ENTERPRISES PORT SECTOR

Abstract
The research focused on the theme of definition the category of “economic security”, that is very topical, because in spite of the many authors study questions of the nature, mechanism and management of economic security, there is no single interpretation of the term “economic security”. The subject of the research is to review current scientific approaches to the definition of “economic security” taking into account the activity of the enterprises of the port sector. The purpose of the article is to identify existing approaches to the interpretation of the category of “economic security” and systematization of its components, and lighting features of this concept based the industry characteristics, namely foreshortened the enterprises of the port sector. Methodological basis of the research is a systematic approach to the study, generalization and analysis of modern scientific approaches to the definition of existing literature interpretations of the term “economic security” and systematization of the main components of economic security. The research allowed concluding the existence of unsolved problems in assessing the economic security, associated with the new conditions of market transformation, and methods of management, and the lack of a common methodology for determining the economic security based on industry characteristics. The result of the research is an indication of the fact that in modern scientific sources interpretations of the concept of “economic security” within a particular range of businesses port industry are not fully considered, that is why very important and topical becomes further development in this direction and acute attention to identifying and providing economic security is the enterprises of the port sector. Furthermore, in this article given the author’s definition of the concept of “economic security” and systematized its components.
