The Employee Ownership in European countries

Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to present the extent and specificity of employee ownership in European countries, paying special attention to experiences of The Great Britain and France. Made attempt of characterizing of the employee ownership in Europe has been performed with the use of data published by The European Federation of Employee Share Ownership. In the scope of assumed subject area the gist of employee ownership and its size and specific in European countries in the years 2007–2011 has been elaborated. Based on carried out analysis of the share of employee ownership in capitalization and percentage of entities implementing employee ownership in large European enterprises, its small scale has been pointed out.
