The research for mechanics stimulation method of nonlinearrandom vibration based on statistical linear theory
Journal Title: Frattura ed Integrità Strutturale - Year 2014, Vol 8, Issue 29
Abstract
Earthquake disasters have brought great harm to people's life safety and economic property. Itseffect on fabric mainly focus on random effects currently, the general pseudo excitation method could solve theinefficiency calculation problem of linear random earthquake. However it could not take the nonlinear problemfactors into account for calculation. In this paper, we suggest that a nonlinear structural incentive methodshould be improved based on statistical linearity to calculate and solve absolute displacement value. Throughthe analysis and research for cases, we calculate the displacement, speed, random vibration spectrum of bridge’saccelerated speed, as well as the influencing situation of axial force. The results indicate that such perfectincentive method could not only perform nonlinear structure analysis, but also to be very accurate and higheffective. Such method could reasonably avoid the displacement decomposition and solution of the pseudostaticmodel, thus it will be widely applied in common software.

Numerical measures of the degree of non-proportionality of multiaxial fatigue loadings
The influence of the non-proportional loadings on the fatigue life depends on the material ductility. Ductile materials react with a shortening of lifetime compared to proportional loading conditions. For a semidu...
Evaluation of the increased load bearing capacity of steel beams strengthened with pre-stressed FRP laminates
We analyse the problem of a simply supported steel beam subjected to uniformly distributed load, strengthened with a pre-stressed fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) laminate. We assume that the laminate is first put i...
Near tip strain evolution of a growing fatigue crack
Near tip full-field strains in a growing fatigue crack have been studied in situ using the Digital Image Correlation (DIC) technique in a compact tension specimen of stainless steel 316L under tension-tension cycl...
Mechanical characterization of metal-ceramic composites
Metal-ceramic composites represent a class of quasi-brittle materials for advanced structural applications that require adequate mechanical characterization. Difficulties and costs associated with material production and...
A micromechanical approach for the micropolarmodeling of heterogeneous periodic media
Computational homogenization is adopted to assess the homogenized two-dimensional response ofperiodic composite materials where the typical microstructural dimension is not negligible with respect to thestructural...
