NEED FOR STATE REGULATION OF BANKING

Abstract
Purpose – to rationale for the implementation of banking regulation from the state to balance private and public interests in banking and research essence, the main objectives, methods, tools and functions of banking regulation at the present stage of development of Ukraine. Methodology of research. The methodological basis of the study is general scientific and special methods of learning, the provision of modern economic theory, experimental literature search, scientific works of domestic and foreign scholars on issues of state regulation of banking. To realize the objectives, the following basic methods: system (to determine the nature of the concept of "state regulation of banking") of abstraction (to make theoretical generalizations, the study of factors that affect the state regulation of the domestic banking sector), analysis and synthesis (for develop recommendations to improve the effectiveness of state regulation of banking). Findings. The article substantiates the need for banking regulation by the state to balance private and public interests in banking. The essence and main tasks of state regulation of banking. It is proved that the system of banking regulation in Ukraine is a set of individual elements, characterized by respective manifestations, has a purpose, functions, and defined set of tasks that contribute to its operation in the legal field of Ukraine. Originality. Were further developed scientific and practical recommendations on the need for state regulation of banking, which, unlike the existing ones, will help to improve governance in the banking sector. Practical value. The results of research is the basis for solving practical problems and develop new approaches to improve the management of the banking system of Ukraine.
