Abstract
Gordian Knot is a mythological reference that represents or refers to “a difficult problem with a simple solution.” So, our goal is to present notes and notes although introductory about conflict in Machiavelli. Although not a comprehensive review of the literature, this literature narrative character test intends to contribute in bringing a better understanding of the problemtheme through the primary reading translated Machiavelli, supported by academic literature and recent scientific. Our hypothesis that the maquiavelianos texts envisions is a Gordian knot seen from two angles, namely first of the conflict itself, nuclear theme for the Florentine secretary and medical metaphor as a way to be similar or even comparative interpretation of the conflict.
