This article presents a comparative analysis of standards protecting the rights of transgender persons adopted by the European Court of Human Rights, the Court of Justice of the EU,. the article also presents the current legal situation of this group in Poland with regard to regulations relating to transgender people in some EU Member States (Germany, United Kingdom) .<br/><br/>
