Journal Title: Біль. Суглоби. Хребет - Year 2014, Vol 3, Issue 15

Abstract

The treatment of pain syndrome caused by herniated disc is one of topical issues of modern orthopedics. Up-to-date treatment modality is epidural adhesiolysis. Objective of this work — to evaluate the efficacy of using combined drug treatment (epidural adhesiolysis) and kinesotherapy in patients with lumbar herniated disc. 54 patients were enrolled in the study — 24 women and 30 men aged 25 to 47 years with clinical and morphological signs of lumbar herniated disc. The application of kinesotherapy after performed epidural adhesiolysis in patients with lumbar herniated disc can improve and prolong the efficacy of the procedure.
