Normative regulation and implementation of the prosecutor’s independence principle in the criminal process of the Russian Empire after the judicial reform of 1864

Abstract
The article considers the issues of the normative regulation of the prosecutor’s independence from other state bodies and procedural independence of the prosecutor in the criminal process, as well as practice of implementation this principle in the Russian Empire after the judicial reform of 1864.
