Abstract
The article clarifies the current state of the normative and legal support for the functioning of air transport in Ukraine. The reasons that hinder the development of the air transport system are identified, among which are interconversion, interconnectivity, fuzziness of normative legal acts, and the presence of significant gaps in them. The scientifically substantiated recommendations for concerning the improvement of the current legislation in the field of air transport functioning in Ukraine are given.
