NUMERICAL 2D-MODELING OF THE DYNAMICS OF DETONATION WAVES IN DUSTY METHANE-AIR MIXTURE

Abstract

As applied to the problem of preventing mine explosions program was created for two-dimensional numerical simulation of multifront (mesh) detonation wave in a methane-air mixture at its entry and subsequent distribution by region of the dust cloud of nely dispersed inert particles. The calculations for stoichiometric methane-air mixture was allowed to examine the restructuring of the wave structure and the dynamics of its decay in the dust cloud formed by ne particles of silicon oxide (sand - SiO2).
