Numerical simulation of underground coal gasification process in “Barbara” Experimental Mine
Journal Title: Mining – Informatics, Automation and Electrical Engineering - Year 2017, Vol 530, Issue 2
Abstract
This article presents the results of a numerical simulation of the possibility of the underground gasification process of a coal seam located in the “Barbara” Experimental Mine. The purpose of the analyses was to predict the process factors that influence the condition for producing gas that is rich in hydrogen. The georeactor geometry, ssumptions for the numerical model, and quantitative and qualitative results of the model studies are presented.
