Observations on the Hyperbola Y^2=72X^2+1
Journal Title: Scholars Journal of Physics, Mathematics and Statistics - Year 2014, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
The binary quadratic equation y^2=72x^2+1 is considered and a few interesting properties among the solutions are presented.Employing the integral solutions of the equation under consideration, a special pythagorean triangle is obtained.

Solving Fully Fuzzy Critical Path Analysis in Project Networks Using Linear Programming Problems
A new method for finding fuzzy optimal solution, the maximum total completion fuzzy time and fuzzy critical path for the given fully fuzzy critical path (FFCP) problems using crisp linear programming (LP) problem is prop...
Empirical likelihood confidence intervals on the mean differences after inverse probability weighted imputation
Consider two linear models with missing data, where the covariates are not missing and response variables are missing at random (MAR). The inverse probability weighted imputation is used to impute the missing data of res...
Diamond Osculating Planes of Curves on Time Scales
In this paper, we present normal, binormal, and osculating plane of diamond regular curves on time scales. We also study their equations analytically.
Brief Discussions on Strategies for Students’ Participation in Mathematics Teaching
Mathematic teaching is a process of teacher-student interaction since a teacher fails to the desired effect, requiring students’ active cooperation and participation. This paper carries out analyses on factors influencin...
Lattice Points on the Homogeneous Cone 8(x^2+y^2 )-15xy=56z^2
The ternary quadratic equation 8(x^2+y^2 )-15xy=56z^2 representing a cone is analysed for its non-zero distinct integer points on it. Employing the integer solutions, a few interesting relations between the solutions and...
