Abstract
The article substantiates a metaphysical approach to conducting research on the methods of teaching mathematics. Historically, various approaches are being explored in formulating the goal of education. The metaphysical approach allows not only to determine the purpose of education, to design a Christian model of education, but also to indicate methods and means for achieving this goal
