Optimal Approximation Rough Set

Abstract
To solve the uncertainty problem of the boundary region of the target concept in the approximate space ( U, R) a new calculation method of the optimal approximation set of rough set was proposed. The definition of similarity degree between sets was introduced. The similarity degree between the target concept and its approximation sets were discussed. The conditions that the optimal approximation set of target concept were the lower approximation set and the upper approximation set were obtained. The judge and algorithm of the optimal approximation set of the target concept were further obtained. The approach was explained by an example.
