Optimal Design of Braking Force Distribution Ratio of Biaxial Vehicles

Abstract

The computational methods of synchronization adhesion coefficient,utilization adhesion coefficient and brake efficiency were determined according to the vehicle mechanical mode of car braking. The braking force distribution coefficient was taken as optimization variable,and an optimization designing method was put forward to get better braking property. Meanwhile,the full load,no-load working frequencies and the actual use of adhesion coefficient were taken into account. The results obtained are not only consistent with the economic commission of Europe( ECE) braking regulations,but also ensure that the braking efficiency is not less than 70%. When the optimal design is tested on one light truck with a speed in accordance with relevant regulations,the braking distance is significantly decreased.
