Organizacja i funkcjonowanie kancelarii władzy policyjnej w Księstwie Warszawskim

Abstract
As part of this work, the author presents the characteristics of the documentation of the policy authorities in the Duchy of Warsaw. Part of this issue is the composition of registry, the competences of employees, the cases and documents of policy authority. These complex issues require the presentation of the state system. Thus, the explanation of what was the policy authority and what was its place in the administration structure. The activity of each office and state position was the same with the production of documents by person responsible for implementation of the tasks of state. Is seems reasonable to ask two questions. Was the state system, including the police system, similar to the documentation production system? And also, did the paper produced by the police clerks constitute a separate registry and a group of documentation produced by it, included in the documentation of state authorities and administration?
