Abstract
The article analyzes the operation of one of the structural units of the management system of the Military Ministry – the Chancellery of the Department of military settlements. The author shows the structure and staffing of key management military settlements organizations, considers its principal executive and control functions and competence on management of this military and economic institute, represents the main directions of activity, daily record management and documental practices of the chancellery.
