Organization of the activities of the State bureau of investigations: world experience and national model

Abstract
The article deals with scientific analysis of the development and functioning of the organs of Latvia, Georgia and the United States of America, which are similar to the body of the State Investigation Bureau in Ukraine, as well as the study of the organization of activities of the above mentioned bodies in order to implement foreign experience. The article investigates the initial stages of the creation of the State Investigation Bureau in Ukraine, identifies the main features of its organization and functioning. It is emphasized on the urgency of introducing leading international experience in Ukraine in organizing similar subdivisions activities abroad. The author defines the basic principles of the organization of the activities of the State Investigation Bureau in Ukraine, analyzes the legal regulation of its activities. It is determined that the Bureau is classified in the executive bodies, which speaks of its special status, and it follows that the Bureau is not a purely law-enforcement agency in Ukraine. The article analyzes the functioning of the Bureau for the Prevention of Corruption with the conventional name of KNAB in Latvia, which states that the competence of KNAB includes such functions as: preventing corruption, combating corruption and monitoring the implementation of the rules of financing of political organizations (parties) and their associations. The peculiarities of the functioning of such an authority in Georgia as the Anticorruption Council, which is aimed at monitoring the state of corruption, identifying the causes and conditions conducive to corruption, are emphasized. The peculiarities of the work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States of America, the leading investigative body of the federal government, are identified
