Особливості соціально-психологічної реадаптації демобілізованих учасників АТО (Distinctive features of ATO veterans’ socio-psychological readjustment)

Abstract
The article analyzes the phenomenon of servicemen's socio-psychological readjustment, describes the pathological and non-pathological nature of combatants' social maladjustment. The factors influencing the course and effectiveness of ATO veterans' readjustment have been shown to include veterans' self-esteem, sense of personal social significance, proneness to conflict, communication skills, living conditions, war-caused changes in moral and ethical values and social relationships as well as the ability and desire to readjust to civilian life. The authors discuss the distinctive features of ATO veterans' readjustment in relation to their mental and social characteristics. The investigation has found significant relationships between the veterans' satisfaction with their mental condition and life and their behavioral regulation, reliability and moral and ethical normality; between the veterans' satisfaction with social relationships and functional status and reliability; between the veterans' satisfaction with life and their behavioral regulation, combat stress resistance, moral and ethical normality, and communication skills. The follow-up research is planned to focus on the comparative analysis of socio-psychological features of the readjustment of ATO veterans and the servicemen on active duty.
