Overall Survival rate in Breast Cancer patients treated with 5-Fluorouracil: a Review of Randomized Clinical Trials
Journal Title: International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biological Research - Year 2010, Vol 1, Issue 5
Abstract
Breast cancer is the most frequent cancer and the second most common cause of cancer-related death for women in western countries. For a long time, only 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) has been used, having shown an acceptable response rate and low toxicity in breast cancer. In this present review, we present the overall survival rate of the breast cancer patients treated with 5-fluorouracil (5-FU).

Validation of a novel Spectrophotometric methods for estimation of Deferasirox
A simple, novel and sensitive spectrophotometric method was developed for the determination of Deferasirox1-3 (DFX) in bulk and in pharmaceutical formulations. The method is based on Reduction of the drug in the presence...
Development and Validation of Derivative Spectrophotometric Method for Simultaneous Estimation of Domperidone and Rabeprazole Sodium in Bulk and Dosage Forms
The use of first order derivative spectroscophotometry allowed simultaneous determination of domperidone and rabeprazole sodium, in fixed dose combination products. The absorbance values at 253.2 nm and 266.4 nm of first...
Development and Validation of HPTLC Method for the Simultaneous Estimation of Telmisartan and Ramipril in Combined Dosage Form
This paper describes developed and validated thin layer liquid chromatography (TLC) method for the simultaneous estimation of telmisartan and ramipril in a combined dosage form. Procedure does not require prior separatio...
SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC ESTIMATION OF PROPAFENONE IN BULK DRUG AND ITS PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATION
Three simple, accurate, rapid and sensitive methods developed for the determination of propafenone in bulk drug and in its tablets by UV Spectroscopy (Method - A), Extractive Spectrophotometric estimation (Method -B) and...
METHOD DEVELOPMENT, VALIDATION AND STABILITY STUDY FOR SIMULTANEOUS ESTIMATION OF TELMISARTAN AND INDAPAMIDE BY REVERSE PHASE-HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY IN PURE AND MARKETED FORMULATION.
An approach of forced degradation study was successfully applied for the development of a stability-indicating assay method for simultaneous determination of telmisartan and indapamide in a formulation in the presence of...
