Подпись является удостоверительная знаком определенного лица и наносится им на документ с целью придания ему юридической силы, для удостоверения фактов и тому подобное. Следовательно, подпись может выполнять присущие ей функции удостоверительного знака только тогда, когда она наносится именно тем лицом, личность которого обозначает.
