O.YA. YEFIMENKO’S CONTRIBUTION TO THE CREATION OF UKRAINIAN SCHOOLBOOKS OF HISTORY IN THE CONTEXT OF THE STATE-BUILDING PROCESSES IN UKRAINE IN 1917–1920

Abstract
The article deals with the biography of the scientist and teacher Oleksandra Yakivna Efimenko, her contribution to the creation of Ukrainian school textbooks on history, on the example of the manual of its authorship from the Fund of the State Scientific-Pedagogical Library named after V.O. Sukhomlynsky. The socio-political realities are outlined, on the background of which O.Y. Efimenko was formed as a scientist, the place of the researcher in the scientific and teaching community was determined, and her views on Ukrainian history and methodology of her teaching were described.
