“Pancham Purush”a new vision By Bani Basu

Abstract

Bani Basu's psychological novel, "Pancham Purush" was written in 1990. The novelist's main goal is to uncover the complex mystery of the character's secret chamber, through the motions of the psychological view. Writer promotes all the critical commentary of everything in the novel. Extremely complex love variations are spread in the novel. Due to the fascination of Aritra to Neelam and then completely lacking to the past youth of Neelam, and then again the strong addiction to college life lover Esha Khan. Aritra wanted to seek the whole thing sexual. His love is doubtful. The great love of Mahanam and Esha is unshakable, irreconcilable, beyond institutional recognition. Neelam, Aritra's sex, love has made us stand in the world of a real world beyond bridal bragging. Neelam ignored Aritra completely coming back from Ajanta, but in spite of that, waiting for the glory of the heavens. The patriarchal society has kept women in commodity, women were not able to completely free themselves from this ritual. Neelam has accepted another man Aritra by fulfilling the sex of Mahanam. Neelam is as relaxed as the object of man's desire, and Shima also. Vikram is not satisfied with one woman. In addiction to the female, he enjoyed many women. Do not go happy with Shima. So he can go away from his wife and be addicted to another woman. The patriarchal society does not question any of the man's pluralistic entity. The author did not even pick up. She has developed a man's artistic psychology. Esha Khan and Mahanam had so personality that there is no desire to be asked in their lives. Esha is reluctant to conceive in the womb of her husband without love. Even the end of the relationship she did not think twice. Seeking secretly for the release from the family, she got a job in a college. In the intellectual suffrage, she ignored the institution of marriage. At the end of the Ajanta Cave travelling, she realized that she had become a incomplete woman. She becomes surplus without the greatness of Mahanam. So devoting herself to Mahanam has become convincing towards fullness. The feminine desires of the woman are scattered throughout the novel. Shima thinks that women consume male consumption. Aritra credited with fulfilling her incomplete desire. Aritra persuades Shima to think as Esha. Writer has given intellectual plaques to the darkness of human mind. The unique uninterrupted images of modern men are sketched by the writer very clearly.
