ПАРАДОКСЫ ПРИЯТЕЛЬСКИХ КОНТАКТОВ И СКАНДАЛЬНЫХ СПОРОВ В «ПАЛАТЕ № 6» ЧЕХОВА

Abstract
In accordance with the belief that Chekhov, in his works, aims at analyzing interpersonal communication, and that the events taking place in the world are communicative events, the author focused on two opposite types of relationships (which form both the plot and the ideological plan of the short story) that are described in Ward Number 6. On the one hand; the relationship between Ragin, the director of the ward, and Mikhail Averianych, the postmaster, is a friendly, daily and boring relationship. On the other hand, the relationship between Ragin, the doctor, and Ivan Gromov, a patient of the mental asylum, starts in a random way but further leads to a conflict and then satisfaction. In the article, the author relates to Bakhtin’s Philosophy of the Act and to his idea of ‘non-alibi of being’, and also to Skaftymov’s idea. Chekhov applies his observations and moral research in day-to-day life
