Peculiarities of Changes of Immunological Parameters in Patients with Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Disease with Anemic Syndrome
Journal Title: Гастроентерологія - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 48
Abstract
The study involved 69 patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease with anemic syndrome. The comparison group consisted of patients with bowel pathology without anemia. It is found that the development of anemia is associated with the expression of proinflammatory cytokine IL-6 and especially TNF-α. There was revealed inhibition of the absorbing activity of neutrophilic granulocytes, which contributes to chronization of inflammatory process. Excessive production of superoxide anion by neutrophilic granulocytes and monocytes promotes intensification of destructive processes.
