PECULIARITIES OF CRITERIA OF FORMING OF LEVEL OF HEALTH CULTURE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS

Abstract
The article highlights and summarizes the scientific psychological-pedagogical data as for the need to revise the existing criteria of forming the level of health culture of primary school pupils. The analysis of the peculiarities of the actual level of the culture of health has been carried out, since the standard of living of modern society is closely connected with the problem of its physical culture. The emphasis is placed on the fact that physical education in primary school is one of the forms of mass recreational physical culture, peculiarities of criteria, organization and content of which are clearly formulated and are as follows: increase of the level of general physical capacity (endurance), harmonious development of muscular corset with emphasis on elimination of postural muscle imbalances, as well as improving the coordination abilities of the child’s body. It is mentioned that the formation of the level of the health culture of primary school pupils should be carried out by means of the scientific substantiation taking into account the current achievements in the fields of pedagogy, psychology, medicine, valeology, ecology, etc. Necessary pedagogical conditions for solving this problem are consideration of the culture of health as a priority goal, which will ensure the formation, strengthening and preservation of health.
