PECULIARITIES OF INNATE IMMUNITY REACTION TO HBV INFECTION

Abstract
Modern data from Ukranian and foreign literature resources concerning inborn immunity during HBV infection have been presented in the review. It is known that immunological mechanisms which cause self-limitation or development of chronic hepatitis B have not been completely studied yet. Th e role of local inborn immune system of the liver, represented by Kupfer’s cells and sinusoid endothelial cells, in response to HBV infection has been shown. Special attention has been payed to NK and NKT cells – basic eff ector cells of inborn antiviral immunity. Peculiarities of humoral component of immunity in this pathology have been described, in particular, cytokine component which can be used for diagnosis and prediction.
