PECULIARITIES OF INTERRELATION OF MECHANISMS OF INDIVIDUAL’S PSYCHOLOGICAL PROTECTION WITH EMOTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS

Abstract
The article presents the problem of psychological protection of the individual. The ideas of the scientists concerning the essence and differences of the mechanisms of psychological protection of the individual are analyzed. The results of the experimental investigation of the students’ priorities while using the mechanisms of psychological protection during the examination period are represented. The interrelation of the mechanisms of psychological protection with the students’ personal emotional characteristics (the level of aggression, anxiety, emotionality, emotional instability) are defined.
