PECULIARITIES OF MUSICAL INTERPRETATION OF SACRED TEXT IN THE LAST SPIRITUAL CONCERTO BY ARTEMIY VEDEL

Abstract
Author has revealed dramaturgical peculiarities of the spiritual concerto To the Lord, in sorrow, praying by Artemiy Vedel. This work has a special place in the heritage of the composer as the last known composition? That was created in November 1798, shortly before the mysterious events that resulted into arrest and life imprisonment of the artist. The hermeneutic approach has been used for analysis of the concerto. Different interpretations of the psalm 119-th have been considered, and based on his musical interpretations, conclusions have been drawn regarding the concept of the cycle. Having taken into consideration the circumstances in which it had been created and the perception of the personality of the composer, we may assume, that the mentioned composition, sharply updating the moral and ethical issues, has an autobiographical context. In this respect, it deepens our understanding of how A. Vedel positioned himself in the realities of his epoch, and, accordingly, brings to the disclosure of the secrets of his biografhy.
