Peculiarities of the legal status of the Orthodox Church in the Poland (1921–1939).

Abstract
There is currently being investigated the legal status of the Orthodox Church with in the period of 1921–1939. There has been analyzed the policy of national assimilation pursued by the Polish government. There has been characterized the process of autocephalization of the Orthodox Church in the inter-war Poland. There was carried out the legal analysis of the articles of “The temporary rules of the attitude of government to the Orthodox Church in Poland”, adopted in 1922. There have been in- vestigated the international legal acts, which were signed by Polish authorities and guaranteed the list of rights to the national minorities and religious communities located on the territory of Poland. There has been separately out lined the problem of registration of the legal status of the property belonging to the Orthodox Church in the inter-war Poland. There was given a legal evaluation of there vindicational movements taking place in regard to the Orthodox churches on the territory of the inter-war Poland within the period of 1918–1939. There was analyzed the Decree of the President of Poland “On attitude of the state to the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church”,according to which there was fixed the official name of the Orthodox Church.
