PECULIARITIES OF THE PREPARATION OF UKRAINIAN NATIONAL POLICE OFFICERS FOR PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Abstract
This article focuses on problem of preparation of the police officers for professional activities. The article describes the main trends in the preparation of personnel for police that prevail in European countries. The requirements for the conduct of a policeman in professional activities are defined by the normative acts. In the context of the formation of professional responsibility, the future officers of the police have concretized the expected results of training in four categoriesdescriptors: knowledge, skills, communication, autonomy and responsibility; their essence is revealed. The necessity to form cadets’ professional responsibility by improving the educational process is justified.
